The Basics
What is this?
A free price tracker for Harbor Freight. We check every tool's price each day, keep every coupon we see, and show you the history so you can tell a real deal from a normal price.
Is this Harbor Freight?
No. It's an independent site and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Harbor Freight Tools. Harbor Freight's name is only used to say which store's prices we track.
Does it cost anything?
No. Browsing, alerts and the Coupon Wallet are free.
Prices And Coupons
How often are prices checked?
Every tool once a day, early in the morning. Coupons are checked several times a day. Each tool page says when its price was last checked.
Why doesn't my store's price match?
We track Harbor Freight's online price. Stores sometimes differ, clearance tags are store by store, and a price can change during the day. Always check the price at the register.
Where does the older history come from?
Before we started checking prices ourselves, history was imported from the original hfpricetracker.com.
What's the difference between a coupon, ITC and a Parking Lot Sale?
A coupon is Harbor Freight's regular deal anyone can use. ITC coupons are only for Inside Track Club members (Harbor Freight's paid membership). Parking Lot Sales are big weekend events with their own prices. We mark each kind with its own color.
What does "Seen Cheaper" mean?
The deal on the tag has been beaten before. Worth waiting unless you need it now.
How does "Buy Now Or Wait" work?
We compare today's price to the tool's own history and how often it goes on sale. The deal forecast is a guess based on past deals, not a promise.
Something on a tool page looks wrong.
Use "Something Wrong Here?" at the bottom of the tool's price box. It comes straight to us.
Alerts And Your Account
How do alerts work?
Watch a tool, a brand, a department or a keyword and pick a target price or "any deal". We'll email, push or text you, depending on what you turn on in the Alert Center.
Why did my alerts stop?
If emails to you bounced or were marked as spam, we stop sending so we don't hurt delivery for everyone. Your Account page will say so, with a button to turn email back on.
Can I get money back if the price drops after I buy?
Harbor Freight has often adjusted the price within 30 days with your receipt, but it's up to them and the store. Family accounts can forward receipts and we'll flag anything that dropped.
How do I delete my account?
Account page, Your Data. You can download everything first. Deleting is permanent.
Privacy
Do you sell my information?
No. No ads, no selling, no third-party trackers. The Privacy page has the details.
Do you track my emails?
Our emails can tell us when they're opened and clicked, so we know which alerts help. Turn it off any time on your Account page.
