These terms cover your use of HF Tracker at https://hftracker.app (the “Site”), run by Harrison Ward (“we”, “us”). By using the Site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. What The Site Is

HF Tracker tracks publicly posted Harbor Freight prices, coupons and sales and shows their history, along with our own opinions (like “Buy Now” or “Wait”). It's a free, personal project.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Harbor Freight Tools. “Harbor Freight”, product names, brand names and coupons belong to their owners and are used only to identify products.

2. Prices And Advice Can Be Wrong

Prices, coupons, sale dates, stock and “sneak peeks” can be late, incomplete or wrong, and Harbor Freight can change them at any time. Always confirm the price at the register or on harborfreight.com. Our verdicts, targets and “worth it” math are opinions, not promises or financial advice. We aren't responsible for any purchase, price adjustment, return or missed deal.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 13 to use the Site, and at least 18 (or have a parent's permission) to make an account.
Give a real email and keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
New accounts turn on only after you confirm your email.
We can suspend or remove accounts that break these terms, abuse the Site or put others at risk.

4. Alerts, Email And Texts

Alerts are sent as a courtesy and can be late, missing or wrong. You can change or turn them off any time on the Alerts page or with the unsubscribe link in any email.

Text Messages

Program: HF Tracker Price Alerts, run by Harrison Ward.
What you get: texts about Harbor Freight price drops, coupons, sales and reminders for tools you chose to watch.
How you sign up: sign in, add your mobile number on the Alerts page and check the box agreeing to texts. Agreeing isn't required to use the Site or to buy anything.
How often: it varies with your watches and the sales. Usually a few a week, never during the quiet hours you set.
Cost: text alerts are a paid add-on, billed monthly through Stripe at the price shown on the Alerts page (plus sales tax where it applies). The plan renews automatically each month until you cancel. Cancel any time from Manage Billing on the Alerts page; texts keep working until the end of the month you paid for. No refunds for partial months. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier.
Monthly limit: the plan includes up to 500 texts a calendar month. After that, alerts come by email and push until the 1st.
Stop: reply STOP (or CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE) to any text to stop right away. We'll send one text confirming you're unsubscribed. You can also remove your number on the Alerts page.
Help: reply HELP for help, or use our contact form.
Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy: no mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy.

Sample messages: “HF Tracker: Price hit your target: 3 ton Floor Jack. Now $89.99, your target was $99.99. Reply STOP to opt out.” · “HF Tracker: Parking Lot Sale sneak peek: Franklin 17 ft Ladder $129.99 starts Oct 5. Reply STOP to opt out.”

5. What You Can't Do

No scraping, crawling, bulk downloading or copying of the Site's data, and no bots, scripts or automated tools. Normal search engine indexing is fine.
Don't try to get around rate limits, sign-in, bot checks or other protections, or probe the Site for security holes without our written OK.
Don't use the Site for anything illegal, to harass people, or to overload or harm it.
Don't resell or republish the Site's data or pages.

6. Your Content

Things you add (wish lists, notes, receipts, photos of shelf tags) stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the features you use. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share.

7. Donations

Donations (“Buy Me A Beer”) are voluntary gifts that help pay for hosting. They're processed by Stripe, don't buy any product, service or special treatment, aren't tax-deductible, and aren't refundable except where the law requires it or for an obvious mistake (email us).

Affiliate links. Some “View At Harbor Freight” links may be affiliate links. If you buy after clicking one, we may earn a small commission from Harbor Freight's affiliate program at no extra cost to you. It never changes the prices, verdicts or deal ratings we show.

Browser extension. Our optional browser extension shows our price history on Harbor Freight product pages. It only reads the item number of the page you're on and asks our Site for that tool's prices. It doesn't read anything else on the page, your browsing history or your Harbor Freight account.

8. No Warranty

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. It may go down, change or shut down at any time.

9. Limit Of Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost money, savings or data, arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you donated in the past 12 months or $50.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant and you have an account, we'll let you know by email or on the Site. Using the Site after a change means you accept it.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Texas, unless your local law says otherwise.
